Postponements may be granted only for good cause. Requests for postponement must be made in writing and received by the Office of Administrative Hearings not less than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled hearing date. The request should include the case name, OAH case number, hearing date, the reason for the postponement request, a telephone number where the requestor can be contacted Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and at least three (3) dates within a 60-day period in which the requesting party and its witnesses will be available for a hearing. A copy of the request must be mailed to all parties involved in the case. OAH may require documentation for the reasons for the postponement request.
